The Rural Medical Service Society’s has its origins in Hulkoti, a tiny village, the birth place of our founder late Shri K. H. Patil, the visionary leader and the doyen of co-operative movement. He founded Rural Medical Service Society’s and established a 100 bed multispecialty allopathic hospital to provide quality health care to the rural people.

A envisaged in the aims and objectives of the Rural Medical Service Society’s, the K. H. Patil Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences came into being not only to cater to the medical needs of rural people but also to educate them about hygiene, health care, preventive measures and to encourage to adopt health lifestyle. Over the years these institutions have been rendering yeoman service to the needy.

The Rural Medical Service Society’s K. H. Patil Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Hulkoti, Gadag was established in the year 1996 with evoked desire to impart knowledge about health living and treat the ailments by Naturopathy and Yoga. The institution is spread over 11 acre of land adjoining to National Highway 63. It has serene atmosphere with plenty of greenery away from the hustled bustle of city life. 50 people can be accommodated for perusing healthy life by practicing health life style. All the necessary facilities are available. A 100 bed Multispecialty and Super specialty well equipped Allopathic Hospital is situated in the adjoin campus. A well trained qualified and experienced Human recourses persons are providing the necessary services.

Dr Sateesh M Hombali

Institute of Naturopathy & Yogic Science, Hulkoti.

Dr Sateesh M Hombali graduated in yoga and naturopathy from esteemed Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Ujire. He has a post graduate degree in counselling and psycotherapy from Kuvempu University Shivamogga. Immediately after graduation he joined Rural Medical Service Society’s K H Patil Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Hulkoti a charitable Institute. He is heading a 50 bed Naturopathy and Yoga Institution with all modern facilities.

Dr Sateesh M Hombali has 28 years of clinical experience in Naturopathy and Yoga therapy and psychosomatic disorders. His counselling skills has helped many schools, Colleges, NGOs and Government Sectors in surrounding districts. Under his leadership the Institute has done lot of social activities like conducting Free Yoga Camps and Naturopathy Camps all over North Karnataka. His articles are published in leading newspapers and periodicals. A popular program on All India radio Dharwad, called “Nisarga Vaidya” was broadcasted for six months. He has authored many books namely “Nisarga Vaidya”, “Back Yoga and Pain”, “Yoga and Hypertension”, “Yoga and Asthma” and “Yoga Dairy”. Holistic management of diabetes”.

He is principal of K H Patil Institute of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences certificate course in Yoga affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad.He was one of the expert who participated in the Zoom Meeting where in counseled various experts people taking treatment at homes during COVID Pandemic.

For his outstanding contribution in the field of Nature Cure, Yoga and Counseling he is awarded Yoga Literacy award by Rotary Club centenary year 2009, Best Physician award by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara trust Dharmasthala in 2015, KSN Iyengar Smaraka awarded in 2019. He has given invited talks in National conferences and many universities.
